Muzikkon Renaissance Lute, 6 Course Variegated Maple Walnut
The lute enjoyed a revival with the development of interest in historical music around 1900 and throughout the century. During the early days of the music movement, several lutes were built by available luthiers, whose area of expertise was often classical guitars. We at Muzikkon have seen a recent global revival in instruments such as the Renaissance lutes. The Muzikkon Renaissance Lute is manufactured with the best quality tone woods and top-quality strings to provide the best tone for both amateur and professional musicians. The Instrument comes with a custom-made padded Muzikkon Case.
- Right hand, 6-Course Renaissance Lute
- Body made of 13 solid Maple and Walnut staves
- Solid Sitka Spruce soundboard with laser-engraved rosette
- The neck and pegbox are made of Maple
- Fingerboard and pegs made of solid Ebony wood
- End pin made of satinwood
- 8 gut frets and 4 wooden frets
- Scale length: 600mm
- Best quality 3 nylon wound strings and 10 rectified nylon strings are used

Note: Lute Pegs are tapered and are held in by friction. As you tune in, press in on the pegs to seat them. This will seat the peg securely in the peg box of the lute. They must be pushed in for a secure hold. Only use enough pressure as necessary. If the pegs slip when released, use peg dope or wax-less chalk to increase the friction.
